Associate Director of Pharmacology — The primary responsibilities of this position will be to evaluate the mechanism of action and efficacy of novel oncology agents using in vitro and in vivo tumor models. Tumor models will consist of subcutaneous xenografts, orthotopic and metastatic models. The person will coordinate all activities (in vitro and in vivo studies) for the Pharmacology group and must have a strong background with in vivo pharmacology.

Secondary responsibilities include setting up and evaluating biomarkers assays to evaluate the performance of oncology agents, interfacing with animal usage committees, presenting work internally and externally, and interacting with external scientist doing collaborative work.

Associate Director, Scientific Affairs — Serve as the companys representative for NCIs Clinical Trials Cooperative Group Program. Assist in the Development and implementation of strategic plans that will advocate ENZONs agenda within the programs medical communications, education and research studies. Assist in the professional development of the MSL group. This position will interact very closely with all members of the Medical Affairs, including Medical Information, Medical Directors, and Investigator Initiated Trials Management. This position will work intimately with Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) to further strengthen the KOL relationships, particularly focusing on the leadership of the Oncology Cooperative Research Organizations such as Southwestern Oncology Group (SWOG), Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG), Cancer and Leukemia Group B (CALGB), Childrens Oncology Group (COG), and others to represent Enzon and to identify strategic research opportunities for Enzon product portfolio with these research organizations. This position will also lead professional development of the MSL group.
